Full Mouth Reconstruction Brooklyn NY: Case 11
Description
Tired of looking at the deterioration and generalized occlusal disease that developed into her existing dentition precipitated a call to our office. The wear and lost tooth structure was significant and likely the result of bruxism or grinding. My experience dealing with these types of cases gave our patient confidence that we could help return this dentition to one of health, vitality, and aesthetics. I used a full mouth wax up to create a change in the interocclusal space and add length to the front teeth. By opening the bite, enough space could be created to develop functional and esthetic crown posterior anatomy which increased the anterior height in a ratio of 3 to 1. This allowed for the beautiful shape and proportions that followed an ideal height to width ratio or golden proportions that we dentists use to recreate the most pleasing shape and proportions for anterior teeth. Final result was a Home Run!!!
