Our crowns are made from IPS e.max®, IPS Empress®, zirconia, and porcelain, all of which are durable, long-lasting materials that result in crowns that are indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Receiving Your Same-Day Dental Crown A Look at the Process

Same-day crowns are created using CEREC technology, which allows us to fit you for a crown and fabricate it in a single appointment.

Consultation

You must first meet with our dentist in Brooklyn so he can determine if you're a candidate for this dentistry solution. He will examine your mouth, inquire about your dental concerns, and review your medical and dental histories. If you're approved for treatment, you can schedule your appointment.

Preparation

Damaged or decayed tissue will first be removed from the tooth and the tooth will be reshaped to make room for the crown. If you need root canal therapy to treat an infection, our dentist will perform that before placing your crown.

Impressions

Our dentist will take digital impressions of your teeth so he can create a tooth that blends in seamlessly with your smile. These impressions will be uploaded to our CEREC machine.

Fabrication

Our CEREC machine will create your crown from a block of porcelain or another durable material as you wait in our dental office.

Placement

Dr. Anthony Ramirez, DDS, MAGD will check your permanent crown to confirm proper fit and function and secure it in place. When you receive a CEREC crown, there's no need to schedule a second appointment or wear a temporary crown.
